Search for where to stay or eat in Sri Lanka and you get the same few big platforms. The family-run guesthouse with the best view, or the café locals actually go to, is often buried. Mark the Spots brings the good places together in one place, organised the way people actually search.
How we choose spots
Every place on the site is chosen by our team. We look for good locations, fair value, people who care, and something that makes a place worth marking. We are starting with destinations we know well, like Kandy and Colombo, and adding more of the island one destination at a time.
