A nine-room luxury hotel in leafy Aniwatte, about ten minutes from Kandy, with an infinity pool, spa and big suites with valley views.
Kings Pavilion is a small luxury hotel on about three acres of gardens in Aniwatte, a quiet residential area roughly ten minutes from central Kandy. With just nine rooms across three pavilions, it feels more like a private villa than a hotel.
Every room has a private balcony or terrace with mountain and valley views, and the suites are large, with Jacuzzi tubs and separate showers. There is a small infinity pool overlooking the valley, a spa with sauna and steam room, and a restaurant serving Sri Lankan and international dishes. Decor nods to Kandy’s heritage, with batiks and images of Kandyan dancers.
