About Weligama
Weligama’s long, sandy bay has some of the most beginner-friendly waves in Sri Lanka, lined with surf schools, board rentals and hostels. It has become a hub for surfers, remote workers and backpackers on the south coast.
Mirissa is a few minutes east and Ahangama a short ride west.
